Alongside your treatment, our hygienists provide tailored guidance to help you maintain excellent oral health at home, including personalised advice on brushing, flossing, and interdental care.
We also support the management of gum health, fresh breath, and the specific needs of implants, orthodontics, dentures, and bridges.
Regular hygiene visits are essential to preserving long-term oral health and a confident smile.
First, a harmless coloured dye is applied to the teeth. This highlights plaque and biofilm, showing exactly where bacteria have built up — including areas that may be missed during brushing.
Next, your hygienist will show you these areas and offer tailored advice on how to improve your cleaning at home.
The EMS Airflow system is then used to gently remove the coloured biofilm, plaque and staining with a fine stream of warm water, air and powder.
Any remaining harder deposits, such as tartar, are carefully removed using specialist instruments.
Finally, your teeth are checked and you’ll leave with a cleaner, fresher-feeling smile and a better understanding of how to maintain your oral health between visits.
